Whitley Strieber is author of more than 40 books, including many novels. Among his non-fiction works are Communion: A True Story, Confirmation: The Hard Evidence of Aliens Among Us, Solving The Communion Enigma: What Is To Come?, The Secret School: Preparation for Contact, The Key: A True Encounter, A New World, and Them. He is coauthor, with his late wife Anne Strieber, of The Communion Letters and The Afterlife Revolution. He is coauthor, with Professor Jeffrey Kripal, of The Super Natural: A New Vision of the Unexplained. His newest book is simply titled The Fourth Mind. His website is http://www.strieber.com/.
Here he compares his own experiences with a detailed report, published anonymously on the internet, from a biologist who claims to have examined non-human beings, through a secret project, located at Fort Detrick, Maryland. He believes this report to be authentic. He also describes a state of consciousness he calls the “Fourth Mind” that humans once possessed, but lost in traumatic circumstances that occurred some 12,000 years ago.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death.
