Terrence McKenna – what are machine elves?

A psychedelic visual series built around the voices and ideas of Terence McKenna, Carl Jung, Alan Watts, and related thinkers exploring consciousness, imagination, death, alchemy, altered states, the shadow, DMT, machine elves, and the strange inner worlds people encounter when they push beyond ordinary perception.

Each video combines spoken-word material with original psychedelic visuals, experimental editing, layered imagery, sacred geometry, symbolic forms, and visual stream-of-consciousness. Some pieces are intense and chaotic, others are slower and more meditative, but they all come from the same idea: taking powerful words and building a visual world around them.

This series is not meant to explain the speakers or reduce their ideas to simple answers. It is an audiovisual interpretation — philosophy, psychology, mysticism, psychedelia, and visual art allowed to coexist in the same space.
