Don’t get it twisted! Not only does the government lock you up but they also make you pay, literally, for committing a crime. Aside from lawyer fees which can be astronomical, if convicted, the government will also charge you court fees, probation/parole fees as well as fines that go back to victims if there are any. If you think, “aw fuck it, i ain’t paying”, well they have something else for that ass, in the form of wage garnishments and more time!
