Doing time doesn’t end when you are released from Prison. You now have to re-enter the job market and having been incarcerated for whatever amount of time puts you at a disadvantage when competing against other who are more qualified. It’s up to you to use your time wisely by educating yourself as much as possible to have any chance at competing. Another option is to go into business for yourself and create a new path to success, one that doesn’t limit you do to your criminal history.
