After joining the infamous Crips’ organization at age 12, by age 13 Terry had been shot 6 times. By age 14 he was standing trial on multiple counts of murder, acquitted, then sentenced to 10 years on various counts of robberies. (From age 14 to 24, he was incarcerated. Being incarcerated and joining a gang at such young age, there was a point in time in his life whereas he couldn’t read or write. He could not spell “dog” or better yet address an envelope to correspond with his family and friends. However, while in prison, Terry taught himself how to pronounce words, then he started putting pen to paper where his passion for writing arose. Upon completing his stay in confinement he secured a publishing deal with #1 Bestselling author “K’wan”. In addition, he has appeared in Rolling Out Magazine, has written articles for Urban Celebrity Magazine and Ni-Ni Girlz Online Teen Magazine. He has been featured in various blog talk radio and V-103 (the #1 Hip-Hop) radio station in Atlanta. He has worked with top celebrities and written articles for and on Jeezy, Boosie, Glasses Malone, and multiple local artists. He owns a mobile bookstore and 2 chain bookstores and recording studio in Los Angeles.
