A Fayetteville woman accused of fatally shooting a man who left the scene of a hit-and-run crash has been indicted on new charges.
Hannah Payne, 21, was released from the Clayton County Jail after being granted a $100,000 bond.
However, a grand jury indicted Payne on charges of felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, false imprisonment and possession of a firearm during a felony. Today we hear the prosecution speak during preliminary on how everything unfolded in their eyes.
Payne’s charges stem from the May 7 shooting death of 62-year-old Kenneth Herring.
