Mind in Tibetan Buddhism with Ole Nydahl

This video is a special release from the original Thinking Allowed series that ran on public television from 1986 until 2002. It was recorded in about 1990.

Ole Nydahl is among the first westerners to be trained as a Tibetal Buddhist meditation master. The author of Entering the Diamond Way, Nydahl points out that the Tibetan Lamas are specialists in understanding the bardo planes of the afterlife. The mind itself is described as a pure, limitless field where our thoughts create various visions that appear objective to us in sleep and death.
