In the 21st century the ideas within feminism have become more diverse and at times more divisive. Without a central agreed upon thesis shared by disparate feminist groups, the loudest and most obnoxious messages from the fringe of the feminist community have become problematic and have stifled much of the progress that the feminist movement may have been able to achieve.
