Psychedelic Entities – Terence McKenna’s Final Warning

If you grew up listening to Terence McKenna talk about the machine elves he met on DMT, you might find it surprising what else he said about these entities. A warning that is often overlooked. In this film, I follow that thread through Julian Palmer’s encounters, the firsthand trip reports collected by Project PSIDAR, and some much older stories about serpents, spirits, and possession. I also look at Andrew Gallimore’s idea for putting these encounters to the test: could an entity tell you something you could actually verify when you got back? Are some psychedelic entities what our ancestors would’ve called demons? And if so how do we account for the positive experiences many report? What does it all tell us about the nature of psychedelics and reality itself?
