"A day-long workshop at Clairmont College in Southern California [in 1991] addressing the Jung Society of the greater Los Angeles area, was an unusual setting and analogies to instruct, suggest and enchant what might be called a group "with a rich inner life" that was not necessarily psychedelic. He stretched to new lengths and depths to accomadate his first Jungian fans with stories of Jung and the McKenna slant on the traditional interpretations that Jungians hold sacred. McKenna's plant psychological scenarios meandered through the symbols dear to Jungians including Carl Jung's theory regarding UFOs. Do UFOs originate as psychic projections from our own minds?

Terence's themes: the mysteries of time; the nature of language; the techniques of ecstasy that have developed in non-Western societies to navigate to and from invisible worlds; and the depth of the general role of hallucinogenic plants in our world picture are covered here in a way that will surprise and delight everyone.

Terence McKenna is the author of Food of the Gods, Archaic Revival and the audially illuminated 9-CD talking book, True Hallucinations, and underground classic."
