I’ve spent over 7 years of my life in prison. Life has been harsh and there is no one to blame except myself. To say I’ve been desperate to change this and left no stone unturned in my efforts would also be an understatement.

Yet despite my best efforts – despite the countless self-help books, despite the countless meetings, despite the countless counselors and experts – nothing changed and my mind still felt weak and resistant to positive change.

I was at a loss and didn’t know where to turn to find the help I needed. But it was in this moment of despair that life shared a powerful realization that has since changed my life like nothing ever has before.

Just as we can’t expect much with physical health without a proper diet and exercise, it’s exactly the same with our minds.
