Reasoning With God – Radio Classic – Dr. Charles Stanley

Episode notes from In Touch Ministries

Have you ever thought to yourself, I wish I could ask God about this? If so, you’re not alone. It’s a common desire. From the deeper doctrines of Scripture to personal challenges, there is much about Christian life that many believers do not fully understand, but would like to.

What a delight it should be, then, to read God’s words to the nation of Israel: “Come now, let us reason together” (Isaiah 1:18 KJV).

In this sermon, Dr. Stanley explores God’s willingness to reach out to His inquisitive people. Rather than be offended by our questions, God foresaw—and even invites them, and offers to guide us by His Holy Spirit “into all the truth” (John 16:13).

Godly wisdom and better understanding can contribute greatly to your sense of peace in many areas. While the Father might not reveal every detail of all you ask about, He will often provide enough knowledge to set your mind at rest and draw you nearer to Himself. He’s always ready to be asked.
